Fortress Europe

Fortress Europe is more than coming into existence. EU police will soon take over the border responsibilities of England. England will become relegated to that of a mere state. Individual countries of Europe have already lost control of their currency. Internal class clashes between social groups are bound to follow. The Queen of England will become the Queen of the European state of England. Cultures will suddenly begin to disappear.

Kenneth Arrow has shown that there is no way that democracy will be able to make everyone satisfied. This means that you can bet that there will eventually be a European civil war. Internal conflict will arise out of the same root cause that the American civil war began. The civil war of the EU will also be about states rights. It will be a long an bloody affair. The United States will eventually be forced to take sides. All of civilization could be pulled into another colossal world war. What is at stake is the concept of a single world government, something that all dictators have dreamed of.

Can any form of a world government adapt and change? Should a state be allowed to succeed from the EU? Isn't diversity important to the survival of mankind? Could it be that the importance of distributed balance of power among diverse cultures is more important than global unity?

The world press does not appear to be communicating these possibilities.
